Today we practiced telling time using our own little clocks. We learned that you can tell time by looking at only the hour hand, because its
always moving! We went to the LMC and we heard about all of the Dryden Dolphin Book Award books! If we read all 20 books, we can win a prize! We took a mad minute. We are getting faster at our facts every day! We read a story about a baby seal who was left behind. We practiced finding the beginning, the middle, and the end of stories.
That's all for now!
Madison
Thank you for remembering the details of our day, Madison!
ReplyDeleteSome of you were asking for a quiz question... Can you tell me the beginning, middle, and end of the story we read today called "Pumpkin Town?"
:) Miss O
Hi. The beginning of Pumpkin Town was that Jose and his family grew pumpkins and then they threw the pumpkins seeds and then the wind blow and it blew the seeds to the town. In the middle, the seeds grew into vines and pumpkins and the people in the town got mad. So then Jose and his brothers went into the town and gathered the pumpkins and the vines. In the end, the townspeople sent them home with 5 watermelons and then when they were done with the watermelons, their dad took the seeds and threw them out the window and then the wind blew them out toward the town.
