Our super star second grader last week was Ryan! Ryan's family came in to help him share his experiment with the class. Ryan investigated how the thickness of the liquid affects magnetic attraction. The 3 different liquids he used were: water, vegetable oil, and corn syrup! The magnets moved the quickest through the water (least density), then the vegetable oil (medium density), and last the corn syrup (the most dense!)
Ryan and his dad shared an adorable story with the class: The Big Hungry Bear!
What an adorable family photo! We are so fortunate to have Ryan in our class this year. He is sweet, caring, and he works his hardest all throughout the day. He is friendly and thoughtful towards his classmates. You had a stellar week, Ryan!
