2nd Grade Scientists by: Nico
This week in science we learned that objects need a force (a push or a pull) to move. We tested friction by using our shoes. The shoes that had a lot of friction didn't move at all. The shoes that had less friction went fast down the ramp. Then we talked about gravity. Gravity is something that pulls objects down. If there is no gravity, like in space, nothing drops down! We watched youtube videos about astronauts in space who had no gravity. They were floating through the space ship! Their hair was floating up! Then we drew a picture of our classroom as if it had no gravity. Things were floating all about!
It was a very cooperative week at school.
Thanks for reading my blog!
