Our Last Day! :'(

So there you have it, a brand new group of Dryden 3rd graders! We made it! I am so proud of all of your hard work this year, boys and girls! We had so much fun and learned a LOT! Thank you to all of the parents, too, for all of your support throughout the year. We couldn't have done it without you. Have a wonderful summer! You deserve it!

I'm going to miss you!
Love,
Miss O'Sullivan

What do you call an afternoon of fun? Field Day!

Although it was a bit of a scorcher outside, we had a blast on field day! The children ran, jumped, scooted, threw, hobbled, and hopped their way through a fun afternoon at school! They had a blast! Of course the icing on the cake was watching Dr. Jares getting a dunk in the Dryden dunk tank....Thank you to all of the parent volunteers, we couldn't have done it without you!

Our Australian Barbie!

What a beautiful day for a barbecue! The second graders had lunch all together last Thursday to celebrate our learning about the country/continent of Australia! We listened to fun Australian tunes including Waltzing Matilda, My Boomerang Won't Come Back, G'Day, G'Day, Bound for South Australia, and don't forget Down Under by the Men at Work! They enjoyed their Italian Sausage, watermelon, salad, and of course their ice blocks (popsicles!) The children had a bonzer time with their cobbers!
